Calling those who dare to dance with fire!
This event is geared toward absolute beginner fire flow dancers - no experience or fire props required! The group will start with Fire 101 workshop lead by legendary PNW fire flow artist Ajax Évolle and afterward transition into a photo + videoshoot shot by River Dreaming (Skyclad Studio). We end off the evening with a fire performance from Ajax, River and a special guest. This event is held at a secret location (address sent to you after sign up) near Mossyrock, WA. The location is private property in the forest about a 2 hour drive from Seattle and 1.5 hours from Portland.
The Workshop:
Fire 101 Approximately 1.5 - 2 hours long • 1 - 8 people per workshop • $50 per person suggested Beginner friendly, no experience needed. 18+ or 16+ with parental consent and attendance. Waiver required for all students. Have you ever wanted to dance with fire, but didn’t know where to start? Now’s your chance! At this workshop, you can expect to learn basic fire safety, fuel handling techniques, and what you need to know to mitigate risk in fire spinning. We’ll have several different props for you to try out, and we’ll be happy to teach you basic skills and tricks for each prop, or you can simply flow with the music however it feels right for you! After we’ve had our initial safety lesson and you’ve had the chance to play with some different props, we’ll light up and you can experience your first burn! This workshop is meant for absolute beginners, but if you’ve dabbled in fire but never learned fire safety or proper fuel handling, or you want to try out some new props, this class is also for you! **Fire workshop dress code: Cotton, cotton blend, or other natural fiber clothing. No loose or free hanging accessories or garments, be prepared to remove these! Synthetic hair extensions, weaves, wigs, or other pieces that are unable to be removed must be secured in a bun, hat, or beanie, or spritzed with water prior to burning.
The Fire Shoot:
After you’ve learned some basics River will capture you with your favorite fire prop so you can show the world (or remind yourself) that you are a badass!

Because the event is taking place within a few weeks of tickets going on sale there will be no refunds offered for cancellation although you may transfer your spot to someone else!
