Riverside Pole Day Camp
Three nature loving PNW strippers: River, Moonyeka and Kitty Black are joining up to host an unforgettable one day pole retreat in the beautiful Salmon La Sac National Forest Area a little over an hour outside of Seattle on Sunday, July 27th 2025. This event is capped at 12 participants for an intimate experience and to make sure we are being responsible about our impact on the landscape.
Event Schedule/Activities:
10:30AM | Participants meet at Roslyn Pioneer Park. at the tiny, adorable town of Rosyln, WA. This is the last place with cell service so we will all meet at the park and then caravan up the road to where River will have set up the pole camp site in advance. Carpooling can be arranged from Seattle and possible from other nearby cities, after you sign up, you will be put in an Instagram group chat with other attendees where you can coordinate rides if desired. 4 wheel drive is not necessary to get to the location but it will be on a bumpy gravel road up into the mountain. Please give yourself PLENTY of time to get to the park, we will not be waiting more than 10 minutes for late comers as it will derail the whole schedule of the event, I recommend arriving early and getting breakfast or coffee at one of the many adorable cafes in the town.
11:00AM | Arrive at the private river campsite. It will be located on National Forest Service land which you are legally allowed to camp or hike on for free if you have an annual National Forest Service pass ($30 a year). River has the pass and has camped in this area at least 15 times over 5 years and never been checked by rangers for the pass but if you don’t want to risk it go ahead and order a pass here and support our National Forests!
11:30AM | Group Flexibility Flow Warm Up Class with Kitty Black (45 minutes)
Take 45 minutes with Kitty Black to show love and appreciation to your self and nature by stretching and meditating to release stress and tension of the week. Kitty Black will instruct you through a flow into a moment of peace and tranquility. 🖤 Deep breaths of the mountain air will leave your heart and body refreshed. Please bring your own yoga mat or beach towel to practice on!
12:30PM-5:30pm | Individual Erotic Oracle Readings with Moonyeka (35 minutes per person)
What needs to be enchanted?
What part of your erotic archetype is ready to unravel?
This is an opportunity to deepen, find clarity and flesh out your deep desires. these enchantments utilize through multifold a process of clearing, grounding, intuitive reading, sea shell casting, and/or oracle divination with Moonyeka. Those who will be receiving will leave with enchantment through movement incantation mantra offering or blessing. Moonyeka will take each participant aside individually to the river for a private reading, this practice will help center you before your dance shoot.
1:00PM-6:00PM | Individual Dance Photo + Video Shoot with River (20 minutes per person)
The sun is kissing your skin, the wind whispers secrets as it dances through the trees - and you are at the center of all of this aliveness - a feeling being moving with the elements around you.
After individuals receive their oracle reading they will transition into their personal photo & video shoot. The brass stage pole will be set up in a scenic part of the site for photos & videos. We will also go off the pole to shoot on the rocks next to the river or in the trees for some wilder portraits and shorter forest flow video. River is experienced in posing dancers and is excited to help you shine. If you are nervous about shooting don’t worry! River is happy to give direction and will make sure you feel good about the moment created together.
Each dancers is guaranteed these deliverables, any extra content captured will be sent to you for no additional cost:
10 edited photos on the pole, 10 edited photos off the pole with the trees or river.
Landscape formatted aerial drone video of a 3 minute freestyle on or off the pole and a second three minute freestyle on or off the pole shot from the ground with a moving camera. All video shot in 4k with stabilizing gimbal.
6:00PM-6:15PM | Group Closing Ritual
You are welcome to head out after your shoot (if you need to leave early just let us know and you can go at the beginning) but if you stay until the end we will have a little group closing ritual to end the day on a connected high note. While other dancers are doing their oracle readings and shoots you are welcome to play in the river or woods, bring a camp chair and read, chat with the other dancers and otherwise enjoy the beautiful setting however you like. I recommend bringing yourself a picnic lunch and dinner.
Notes on the wild/remote setting:
Please note that our location will not have cell service, running water or a bathroom and plan accordingly. There is an outhouse on the road where the campsite is that you may be able to walk to or could definitely drive to, River will make sure everyone knows where it is. You can totally pee in the woods just bring a plastic bag to pack in and out any used toilet paper which takes years to decompose. River will provide some extra gallon jugs of drinking water but you should aim to bring whatever water you need. Likewise please bring food to sustain yourself throughout the day and layers! It can be hot in the direct sun but very cool in the shade and cloud cover can bring the temperature down quickly. You may want to bring a swimsuit if you want to dip in the river. Depending on what campsites are available it may be deep enough to fully swim but will definitely be deep enough to dip! If you are interested in camping over night in the area email (skycladstudio.pnw@gmail.com) or DM @skycladstudiopnw for more information. River will be camping over night at the site for the weekend to make secure one of the most scenic sites for the event.
Join us on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains on the Salmon La Sac river for a one day pole retreat. Cost includes:
1 Hr Flexibility & Meditation Group Class with Kitty Black
35 Minute Individual Erotic Oracle Reading with Moonyeka
20 Minute Individual Dance Photo & Videoshoot with River
(10 edited photos on the pole, 10 off the pole, a three minute aerial freestyle video and three minute ground freestyle video all shot in landscape with 4k gimbal stabilized camera)
Flow Facilitators:
River Dreaming (fae/they)
River’s name was inspired by the very flowing body of water we will be hosting this event next to! This area has been a huge part of their creative evolution and they are so excited to share the magic of Salmon La Sac with the dancers who participate. River is a sex worker, camera nerd and nature lover with endless reverence for the beautiful lands of the Pacific Northwest.
Moonyeka (they/them)
Moonyeka is an animist who calls in with Aswang, Catholic Folk Magic, dharma ideologies, tantric lineages, plant allies as helping spirits to conjure and allure messages that need to be received.
*Aswang is an umbrella term for various shape-shifting, mythological, animist, folkloric, "evil" spirits and creatures in Filipino folklore.
Kitty Black (she/her)
Kitty Black is an OG California stripper now calling the Pacific Northwest home. She is known for her legendary pole performances, exceptional bendyness and endless charisma on stage. She is a yoga instructor and crowned cannabis queen. (Yes, you can smoke weed with us at this event!)
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations before June 15th receive a 100% refund
Cancellations before July 1st receive a 50% refund
Your mini retreat package is not eligible for a refund after July 1st. Skyclad Studio events always sell out and we have a limited number of spots available. Late cancels make it hard to find someone else to take your spot as most dancers have their summer weekends planned out pretty late in advance. Please be mindful of our cancellation policy when booking your spot in the shoot!
If there is heavy sustained rain on the day of the shoot we will reschedule for another day late in the summer. Anyone who cannot make that date will recieve a 100% refund of their place in the shoot. Light rain, wind or cloudy skies will not cancel the shoot. The Salmon La Sac area is typically quite sunny and dry in the summer so this hopefully will not be a problem but we are working with Mother Nature and she is unpredictable.

Secret Garden Pole Photo & Video Shoot
Sasha Skye on my Garden Pole 2024
Group Photo + Video Shoot with Skyclad Studio
Date: Sunday, May 27th 2025 7-11am (this is the prettiest light on the pole, you don’t need to show up at the beginning of the shoot)
Location: Lake City, Seattle (exact location will be emailed to you before the shoot)
Join me for a magical opportunity to capture your dance in my secret garden pole space! I am a permaculture based landscape designer and organic gardener as well as a stripper and redesigned my rental backyard to frame the pole and the sunlight hits beautifully in the morning. We can take photos and video with just the pole and wander into the garden for some portraits with the flowering trees and gazebo. I am taking both photos and videos for this shoot, although I have a photos only package available.
Here's what you can expect: Free parking outside my house. Order of dancers getting photos/videos will be organized by my assistant for efficiency as folks show up (unless you email me asking to reserve a specific time slot) so you may need to wait for some folks to go before you but you'll get to watch some beautiful dancers and possibly make a new friend! You can leave as soon as you are done if you like or stay and hang out. The best lighting is earliest in the morning so if you’re brave I encourage you to come early! If you come right before 11am (like 10:50am) that is okay just know that as it gets closer to noon the sunlight is directly overhead and is harsher than in the earlier morning. Still beautiful though! If you want to come even earlier for sunrise I would be happy to be ready then just shoot me an email at skycladstudio.pnw@gmail.com after you buy your package if you want to shoot at day break.
Pole Details: We are using a X-Pole expert stage pole with pink powder coat (I may buy a brass pole before this shoot, will update the page if so). The pole can be changed to static or spin at your preference. You will sign a liability waiver releasing Skyclad Studio from responsibility for injuries on the pole before the shoot. We will set up the stage pole (rated for up to 250lbs) to be as safe and stable as possible but you need to be mindful and be careful!
How long do I have to sign up? Shoot registration closes at 5pm the day before, Saturday May 24th unless the shoot sells out, in which case will make an announcement on social media and this page that registration is closed. A couple days before the shoot you will receive an email with exact address, this is my personal home I rent so please be respectful of my privacy and don’t share the address with anyone outside the shoot.
Is my booking refundable? Shoot price is fully refundable up to 24 hours before the shoot. If you cancel within 24 hours I will refund you 50% or you can use what you paid as credit for booking one of my future shoots. This policy is to help me have enough time to find someone to take your place in the shoot as they usually sell out and spots are limited. If the weather is stormy on the planned day I will provide a backup date and refund anyone who is not available for the rescheduled date or offer to transfer your payment to my next shoot.

Captivate the Camera: Seattle Pole Dance
Workshop: Captivate the Camera - $55 | 2 Hrs
Description: In this workshop, River will teach you how to slay your pole dance videos and work with you to create one! Class starts with a dancey full body warm up. Then we will move into the lesson on how to create engaging pole dance videos with whatever tools you already have, which includes tips and tricks River has learned both dancing in and filming many pole videos covering key tips for lighting, angles, simple editing and dance storytelling. Split into two groups, we will practice each technique using whatever smart phone or camera you bring to class. River will provide a hand out sheet with all the information + bonus tips so you can come back to it later. After the lesson each student will solo freestyle and be professionally filmed by River while the other students watch and cheer them on. All workshop attendees will get the full recording of their freestyle emailed to them after class, there will also be an option to pay an additional $50 to River directly for a package of 3 edited reel style videos as well as the full recording.
What to wear/bring: Smart phone or camera, water bottle, your favorite pole grip if you like to use it, whatever you want to wear for your freestyle video! You are welcome to bring two outfits, one for the warmup and lesson and one for your video and change in between. If you have a tripod for your phone or camera, bring it but not required.
Accessibility: Since the dancing in this class is all freestyle based you can accommodate yourself and find dance that feels good for your body! Class will involve some sitting on the floor while other students are dancing but option to sit in the lounge area during this section if needed.

1/27 SNOW ANGELS ❄️ GROUP POLE SHOOT
Join us for a magical opportunity to capture your dance in the snow! River and Nat are cohosting this group shoot. Nat will be taking photos and River will be capturing video! Here's what you can expect:
You can wear a cute sweater and pants and do lowflow/basework or go all out in a tiny outfit and do some aerial if you're brave! Cozy and slutty vibes are welcome, you can't be too extra! Everyone who comes to this group shoot will first get some posed pictures to a song and then freestyle dance to another song for video capture (pick your songs in advance or roll with what we have playing). Order of dancers getting photos/videos will be first come first served so you may need to wait for some folks to go before you but you'll get to watch some beautiful dancers and possibly make a new friend! You can leave as soon as you are done if you like. There are 4 spots available in River's car reserved for folks who need carpooling to get to location. You will need to be able to meet River at Magnussen Park in Seattle at 11:30am in order to join the carpool. There may be other opportunities to carpool with other people going to the event but only 4 spots guaranteed, first come first served River will update the page when carpool spots are all taken.
Location:
The shoot will likely be located in the Middlefork Natural Area. There are lots of snow spots there that require only pulling off the main plowed road to get to the location. We will be scouting out the exact location before the shoot so you can have GPS coordinates. If there isn't snow in Middlefork at the time of the shoot we will pick another location off i90 within an hourish drive of Seattle.
Pole Details:
Chrome stage pole. If it starts snowing we may switch to powder coat pink pole because it's less slippery when wet. You will sign a liability waiver releasing us from responsibility for injuries on the pole. We will set the stage pole (rated for up to 250lbs) up to be as safe and stable as possible but you need to be mindful of the extreme conditions and be careful!
Pricing and Deliverables:
The $20 required to RSVP is your ticket price for reserving your spot in this shoot. Tickets are refundable if we have at least 48 hours advance notice, this is so we can find someone else to take your spot in the shoot. If you cancel within 48 hours of the shoot your $20 ticket price is non-refundable. Thank you for understanding!
Photos by Forest Gremlin (Nat): $25-$75 sliding scale
What you get: At least ten edited photos, as many good photos as are captured will be edited and sent to you, no additional charge for extra photos!
It's ideal to have 5 standing or floor poses that you love in mind when you come to the shoot. You can absolutely bring aerial trick poses to the shoot too but just know that with the cold pole it is easier to get photos of non-aerial poses. Nat can also help pose you but it's going to be cold and we want to make the most of your time on the pole so having some poses in mind going into it will help you get more photos you love out of your photo session!
Videos by Skyclad Studio (River): $50-$100
What you get: 1 cinematic landscape freestyle video (1-2 minutes), 1 highlight vertical video (15-20 seconds), 1 reel vertical video (45-90 seconds)
We will play a song (you can choose or we can choose!) for you to freestyle to (or bring your own choreo). River will take the best moments of your dance and chop them up into video content showing off your dance with creative editing. If it's not snowing River can fly their drone for aerial shots, otherwise it will be stabilized ground footage. River recommends freestyling tricks that feel very comfortable for you. You aren't going to be able to warm up very much so it's best to stick with what your body is used to and that muscle memory will create the best video results! It looks better to finesse some leg waves, pirouettes, booty moments or simple tricks like leg hooks and pole sits than to be struggling to execute the upper range of your trick abilities in the cold!
Pricing note: You have to get both photos and video to be in the shoot. The $20 ticket price does not go toward your sliding scale fees for photos and videos. It's a lot of work for us to plan these shoots, transport people, set up the pole in the snow, get the content and edit it, we hope you find this pricing reasonable! You don't need to pay your sliding scale photo/video fees until after you get your content back. We hope this helps you find a price point that reflects the value of your experience and your budget.
You will receive your photos and videos within one week of the shoot!
Recommendations for health and safety in the cold:
- Bring your warmest jacket and layer up, you'll want to be as warm as possible right up until you get on the pole and get bundled up again directly after. Wool socks and gloves to wear when not on the pole recommended.
- Bring a hot drink in a thermos and/or hot hands!
- We are providing a rhinestone snowflake decorated soft faux fur Christmas tree skirt that can be placed over the base of the pole to make it a little less cold and less contrasting with the snow around it. It will be ideal for posed photos but hard to use for freestyling since it will move around when stepped on. We recommend either wearing heels or some kind of cute sock to protect your feet from the cold base. You are more than welcome to bring a blanket to use as a prop if you like.
Feel free to message River (@ariverdancing) or Nat (@_forestgremlin_) with any questions!!
